Individual characters

pictures of my first session campers at the bowling alley when we went on Long cruise out at morehead city.. as i think bout it, i wish i have got all their email add and write to each and everyone of them. ok.. maybe not each and everyone, but just a couple of them.

being 13 going on 14, at a tender age of transition from middle school to high school, alot of them are experiencing the anxiety of going to a new environment, being the youngest in the school. how was i like when i was 13? hmm... geekish and timid. lucky for me, i got over it, and met a great group of friends... wat bout them?

Bethany, the girl standing rite beside me in pink shorts... was one of the few i was really worried when i left to come back for convo.. it was a kinda "Case" where u left half way dangling, not knowing what happened to her at the end... came from a single parent family, mother being over-protective... father bein a jack-ass, having low self-esteem but yet desperate for guys... hahaa.... rem when we went for the first dance that i was still there, catherine (girl on extreme right) would pull her and get her to meet guys....

Katie c., red hair on front row... great girl to begin with... attractive 14 yr old, divorced family, living with dad and step mum, gonna spend 2 weeks after camp with mum and boyfriend. seems like a happy girl, with friends and supportive family. great water-skiier, achieved highest rank in riflery when she was in camp 2 (that being 11-12 yrs old) during a devotion before i left, talking bout emotional/physical scar.. started the subject of how she was anorexic when she was 11, stick-thin, went for rehab, and still on the occasional theraphy to talk bout it. a period of nightmare for her, hoped that it never happened. had a great group of friends who supported her and dad who is really supportive and helped her got out of it.

and there's jennah, and morgan, and allie, and elle, and ashley, and so many other people i have met... would continue again... 13 girls in a cabin, plus 2 other great co-counselors. all with their own story to tell, yet living together for 4 weeks in a same cabin, like we always say during the first few devotions, make the best out of what u are doing, make new friends, cuz when u leave camp, u are never who u are 4 weeks ago, cuz u are bringing a part of someone else, someone's story to tell, a lesson to learn from... camp IS a magical place...
