Things that happen at work...
So I was out with rhyss last nite, n so we were juz randomly talking n she was like..."so wat other interesting thing happened at work?" n i realised... HAY... actually my work IS kinda interesting.. ;)
You know like how ppl say, 人是善变得. how one can never guess n predict how or why some people behave in such a manner... it is soo god damn true in my line! For me, it matters if someone take up a job offer, it matters if the candidates tt i sent r shortlisted or even get a job... but sometimes u wonder whether the person on the opposite end really really wana look for a job/ change a job n what exactly matters to this person in terms of job search.. where am i gg to rite? yah. in circles.. but this IS a visious cycle... we hv ppl who are super duper enthu bout job search, wanna look for a job, whether its an mnc environment, whether it is a correct industry, (i.e marketing is marketing, but marketing in what industry?) whether it is job security (i.e government sector, glc? mnc? local setup n all) whether this job can pay me well or simply the first job offer tt comes along the way...
job searching can be a strenuous n tiring process... from the first step of sending resume, to reevaluating whether u really wanna look for a job, whether u really wanna CHANGE a job takes alot of courage... after tt u juz wait, wait to get shortlisted, wait to get interviewed, waiting to get a reply... its a waiting game... I dun have a lot of time tho... cuz time ticks... my sales nd to go up... i nd clients to respond fast, nd candidates to be eager n enthu as well...
seriously, i love my job, it does get a bit routine n mundane, but then again, wic job doesn't? i get entertained everyday by candidates who place their CMI picture on this resume. i get pictures with a "panda" on a backdrop.. n even like 1960s 70's cover picture like the "青春一二三" kinda era pictures as well...
of cuz get resumes where ppl travel far n wide... like my Mr Hawaii n Mr Taiwan.. wait till i omit their personal particulars i'll post in on! n u see their resumes u noe n u feel strongly tt "this is like my dream life!!" n of cuz u see ppl who come from the top 5/10 schools, earning big bucks.. n u scold n lament urself why u din study hard, why when u were younger ur mum/dad/teacher ask u muz study hard so u can earn alot of money n life comfortably... u ask.. or rather. I alwasy ask myself why? but till now... life is good... n I have a clear goal of wat i wanna do and achieve, short term goal.but good for now... in the mean time.. i pray for world peace... n less stupid ppl in the world!!!!
p/s: question i always ask myself, am i the misfit, or are THEY the ones who are stupid? i want to believe its the latter...
