back at home again
yup! back at home again... home sweet home.. perth was a great place.. really like it,... was there for a couple of days to kinda visit sharon toh, though she is already comin back tmr.. see the place where she study, where she lives, where she hangs out... n i really like it... wished i had a chance to study abroad too...
was actually thinking, studying abroad is a lil like stayin in hall, only big diff is it takes 5 hrs flight to get home instead of the 2 hrs bus ride wic we/I will complain about... but really, like how perth is a city area, n yet 15min on the bus or car n u are out in the suburb, jogging along swan river, (well, i din jog, i rowed along swan river on thurs morning though n it was great fun!!!) u can jog up king's park, or jus about anywhere... the weather was great... like puuurrrfect... ok, maybe not perfect, but close... not too hot, not too cold, weather still not fully summer yet, more of like early spring late fall kinda feeling where the sun shines down on u but u are not like hot n sweaty!!! oh... but one thing... the FLIES!!! ARGHHH was lookin thru the pix we took n i swear it seems like i have moles on my face cuz of the disgusting flies!! not tt i am dirty or smelly or wAT, but they jus come!! geezzzzz...
but yah, shopping was fun, searching thru for cheap clothes always gives us cheaP thrill, n sharon's cheap cheap clown pants was definitely a great buy, freo market was nice too... OH!!! how could i forget ROTTNEST ISLAND!!! haha, an amazing place i would say... ok, maybe cuz i really am a nature junky, the coast was so pretty, the water was a lil too cold though, the sand feels good on ur feet, n the wind with the sun shining on u.. awwwwww..... so nice....
n did i mention tt sharon had a really fun grp of friends! yup! apart from stayin at her friends place, had fun hanging out n have dinner, n haha... our last nite there drinking at her friend's apartment... ohwell... beer was cheap... though i concluded tt aussie beers are crappy.. ewww.. the wine was good n cheap too... haha...
i can go on n on bout how i enjoyed my trip.. even jus hanging out with sharon toh, buying beer n drinkin at the beach when we were at rottnest, walking down the seem-like-endless road n entertaining ourselves... really glad she would b home soon... though it would only b for a month n there she goes off again...
wic brings me to the next pt, its amazing how life changes its path for many ppl, how u meet ppl who teach u valuable lessons, like how we always say in camp, "everything is a teachable moment" n everything happen for a reason.. sometimes when we turn n look back... n u go.. "ahhh......."
gonna start work tmr le... really excited n yet "petrified"? duno how it will b like.. so.. fingers crossed, n hope everything turns out fine...
